This is our second year at growing tomatoes. Louie built boxes out of old windows to protect them, this has worked well. We have plans to build a tomato/green house this fall again by using recycled windows. I am excited about this. We grew three verity's of heirloom tomatoes, next year there will be more. There are so many verity's of heirloom tomatoes how do you choose?
We have been making salsa and for the first time tomato soup.
It is September 23rd and I haven't had anything freeze! September is making up for the cold summer we have had, it is wonderful!
