In Disguise

There is an lady in our town who is going through chemo treatments. She is someone I don't see often, but I know. During the holidays she and I were in the grocery store. I looked over at these two lady's one wearing a hat who were having a conversation. I was trying to place the lady in the hat, it wasn't until she spoke that I knew who it was. Today at the post office she was behind me in line, again I didn't recognize her until she spoke. This was my thought as I walked away "what if you didn't look like you anymore".
