I am planning on removing my wall paper, adding texture to my walls and painting. Unfortunately the color of the paint I liked did not match my counter. So I had to paint them before I could go to the next step. I had a few moments of panic but in the end I thought they turned out.

Painting my Counter Tops

This quote says exactly what I want
"I don't want a work life and a non-work life, I want to live one life where labor, family, health, happiness, intellect, and art all collide and merge."

Growing Tomatoes
This is our second year at growing tomatoes. Louie built boxes out of old windows to protect them, this has worked well. We have plans to build a tomato/green house this fall again by using recycled windows. I am excited about this. We grew three verity's of heirloom tomatoes, next year there will be more. There are so many verity's of heirloom tomatoes how do you choose?
We have been making salsa and for the first time tomato soup.
It is September 23rd and I haven't had anything freeze! September is making up for the cold summer we have had, it is wonderful!

Eighty-five percent of malaria deaths are children under 5 years old. Malaria is the second-biggest killer of children in Africa.
WHO estimates that 50 percent of the world's population is at risk of malaria. An estimated 250 million people are infected with the disease each year.
